Project Overview

Challenge

Fernco, Inc. a global manufacturer of high performance plumbing and drainage solutions was looking to develop a website that featured expanded presentation of their entire product line, have the ability to introduce new products and develop a secure login area for existing customers and sales representatives that would include all sales and marketing materials, downloadable images, monthly promotions and a shopping cart environment for sales literature requests that would provide an accurate tracking of how much literature is being ordered, by who and how frequently. This online tool needed to provide a comprehensive tracking and reporting feature in order to ensure cost containment on printing and distribution of all Fernco sales and promotional material as well as create an on-line self-service marketing support department.

Solution

A complete analysis was performed to understand the sales and marketing process internally and externally in order to develop the most efficient and user-friendly website marketing strategy. The website was designed as a complete product line resource for new and existing customers and sales representatives. In addition, a customer/rep login area was developed to provide customers and sales representatives with a central location to obtain confidential pricing, current sales promotions, image library downloads and ecommerce shopping cart to order literature based on an assigned credit system per customer for accurate tracking and printing budget allowances.

It was essential that the website was found within the top 3 search listing (organically) within Google so a comprehensive SEO marketing strategy was designed and implemented throughout the site that today is successfully displaying www.fernco.com as the top listing within their keywords and product category.
